What is Paint Correction 

• Assessment:
  
• Inspect the vehicle’s paint to identify the level of imperfections (scratches, swirls, water spots, etc.).
• Determine if the paint can be corrected without removing too much clear coat.

• Washing and Decontaminating:
  
• Wash the car thoroughly to remove dirt, grime, and contaminants.
• Use a clay bar to remove bonded contaminants from the paint surface, like tree sap or industrial fallout.

• Machine Polishing:
  
• Use a dual-action or rotary polisher with polishing compounds to level the paint and remove imperfections.
• Polishing compounds come in various stages, starting from more abrasive ones to finer ones.

• The goal is to break down the abrasives, leveling the surface, and removing scratches while minimizing any hazing.

• Finishing:
  
• After the more aggressive correction, use a finer polish to refine the paint and enhance its gloss.
• This step brings out the full shine and depth in the paint.

• Protection:
  
• After the paint is corrected and perfected, apply a layer of paint protection like wax, sealant, or ceramic coating. This helps maintain the results and keeps the paint protected from future damage.

A ceramic glass treatment can be applied to the outside of the vehicle’s windscreen, to provide an extremely hydrophobic layer to increase visibility during rain. The airflow over the vehicle at speeds over 50km/h causes the water beading to shoot of the windscreen allowing windscreen wipers to become much more effective and in certain situations not even required to be used. The other benefit is to minimise the possibility of water marks etching into the glass and make cleaning the glass easier to do. Three layers are applied to the windscreen to increase durability for up to 50,000km.
